Two Holiday Poems

Standard

Minty Man

Minty Man

in the minty shirt

is putting me off

my minty dessert

Over the Top

David’s Well

at Davids Well.

He sits in a plastic see through booth

Waving enthused

at lost cars between drips

automatically we wave back

with wipered slow motion

within his rainy bubble potion.

He shows us two black cats

They kiss

then separate

but both refuse to cross our path.

We descend

thinking

We are still lucky!
.
.
.

During our hols in Wales these two men really stuck in my head
and so I have now stuck them here.
